Banta is the thirty-ninth episode of Encantadia. It aired on September 8, 2016.

Summary[]

Aquil reports to Amihan what he had discovered. Danaya attempts to open a portal by using the Earth Gem, but fails. Akesha invites Mila to her house, but Mila decides against taking the gold. But Berdano sees Mila's birthmark, so he suspects that she is the true Lira. Hagorn tells Pirena that they have enough power to defeat Lireo.

Chapter 22 (continued)[]

Mila tries to dissuade Berto from blackmailing her. Angered, she radiates a fearsome aura, but Berto says that his friends would release the video in case something bad happened to him.

Aquil reports the result of his investigation, but Pirena tries to minimize its significance. Pirena also tries to win over the soldiers that Aquil had shouted at, with some success.

Berto leads Mila to Berdano's house and instructs her to rob it. Mila prays for a sign if she should proceed. Danaya, in her battle armor, wanders around. She tried to make a new portal to Encantadia with the Earth Gem, generating an earthquake that tore the earth itself. Alena finds Mila outside her house and invites her inside. Danaya sees the massive damage she has caused, and mends the earth through the Earth Gem.

Pirena convinces Amihan to let her keep the Key of Asnamon, so she could "watch over" Danaya in the human world.

Mira tells Amihan that she and Pirena were not worthy of her affection. Gurna's watchful eye prevents her from revealing Pirena's plans.

Mila was tempted to take the gold, but does not do so because of the "sign" (Danaya's earthquake). When Mila changed clothes, Berdano sees her Earth symbol birthmark, the mark of a Sang'gre. He remembers Pirena's instruction and follows Mila.

Ybarro goes to the palace of Lireo and remembers Alena. As he was about to leave, Mira saw him, and he introduced himself as her father and the heir to Sapiro.

Hagorn tells Pirena that based on the news he had heard, Amihan is the only Sang'gre in Lireo. Pirena complains that he had not included her and her daughter among the Sang'gres, but Hagorn ignores the correction and declares that they have enough power to defeat Amihan.

Notes
  1. To prevent confusion, episode summaries will never refer to Mira as Lira, even though she would be called as such by the people of Encantadia.
  2. Names in single-quotes refer to characters who have shape-shifted, pretending to be somebody else.
